Job Description: Quality Engineer, automotive, machining, high volume

Plant expansion!! Modern automotive components manufacturer is searching for two Quality Engineers for their machining area. Interested candidates should have five plus years of Quality engineering and solid QS-9000 experience. This position requires documentation of FMEA’s, Ppap, control plans, work instructions, and 8-D corrective actions. The position will focus on continuous actions. The position will focus on continuous improvements of current processes and new product launches. Candidates should also have the ability to analyze SPC data and work directly with machinist. Knowledge of measuring equipment for machined components is also required. CMM experience is a big plus. The ideal candidate will have some experience launching new products using A.P.Q.P. requirements. Candidates with a 2-year or 4-year technical degree are preferred, however we will consider work experience.
