Job Description: Large manufacturer of machined components is searching for a leader for their manufacturing engineering department. This manager will manage all engineering functions in a high speed machining environment. Interested candidates will need a four year technical degree and past experience in high volume machining. Knowledge of cutting tools, production CNC turning, multi spindle screw machines and/or rotary transfer machines is strongly preferred. We are looking for candidates with strong leadership and project management skills. This position will focus on new product launches and continuous improvement projects. Knowledge of high speed production machining is required. Past experience leading other engineers, planning and managing project time tables is a must.

This Engineer Manager will oversee seven plus manufacturing, estimating and project engineers in a 200 plus employee manufacturing facility. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is a big plus. This manager will play a major role in the direction of the company and have room to advance their career.
